Piano Teachers

Greta Gasser

Pianist, BMus (Hons), MMus in Piano Performance (Distinction), MISM

Greta is a Romanian pianist, who graduated with Distinction from her Masters degree in Piano Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, where she studied with the distinguished Helen Krizos and Frank Wibaut.

Greta is prize winner of piano competitions, with regular recitals and concerts in the UK and Romania. She is an experienced piano teacher, who has been involved in educational projects held at the Bridgewater Hall, the Halle, and St.Mary’s RC. As well as teaching at Gasser Music Studio, Greta is a piano mentor for Practical Pedagogy Master of Music piano students at the Royal Northern College of Music. She is also teaching piano at Manchester High School for Girls. Previously, Greta taught at Yorkshire Young Musicians.

Her journey in music education is marked by a profound sense of pride in her students’ achievements: not only their examination and competition wins, but also their confidence and love for music. Greta’s students reach for the stars because they know they can. Her teaching motto is: ‘Everybody is talented‘ and she is focused on encouraging her students to develop their creative potential through music playing.

Radu Prisada

Pianist, BMus (Hons), MMus in Piano Performance (Distinction)

Radu graduated with a Master of Music in Piano Performance with Distinction from The Royal Northern College of Music, where he studied piano with Richard Ormrod at the RNCM. He started his piano studies in Romania at the age of six. Since then, he performed on a constant basis in festivals, concerts, and recitals as a solo pianists, chamber musician, and vocalist. 

Apart from teaching online classes at Gasser Music Studio, Radu teaches at Loughborough School as well as privately.

As a pianist, Radu approaches  diverse repertoire ranging from Bach to Bartok. He is passionate about sharing his love of music with his students and likes to look at music from different angles such as harmony, history, forms, and theory.
